Finalmente arriva la pioggia 

E il tuono rimbomba 

I teneri germogli si denudano nell'oscurità 

La terra cerca di nascondere la sua aridità 

Quando le radici si fanno strada nel nostro petto 

Insieme desideriamo 

E insieme ricordiamo 

Un sombrero e l’impermeabile o un fulmine nel cielo 

La notte si sdraiava sulle tombe mentre 

La sua camicia nera era ancora appesa agli alberi 

Insieme i ricordi sbiadiscono 

E a volte riecheggiano 

I suoni si perdono nel nostro sonno profondo 

Dove innumerevoli sogni sottosopra vengono infranti 

In questa acqua piovana fresca, che si espande, e ci rigenera. 

Variations on a Rainy Night 

Rain comes at last 

And thunder rumbles 

Tender shoots strip naked in darkness 

The land tries to hide its barren dryness 

When roots feel their way into our chest 

Together we desire 

And together we recall 

A leafy cone hat and raincoat or lightning across the sky 

Night lies down with all the tombs 

Its black shirt still hung in the trees 

Together things cool down 

And together things echo 

The sounds get lost inside our deep sleep 

Where countless upside-down dreams are shattered 

In this cool, expanding, reverberating rain water. 

Claudia Piccinno:

Claudia Piccinno, docente, traduttrice, autrice di numerosi libri di poesia. Ha scritto numerosi saggi, nel 2020 ha pubblicato Asimov, un volto inedito. Direttrice per l’Europa del World Festival Poetry, ambasciatrice per l’Italia del World Institute for Peace e di Istanbul Sanat Art, benemerita del Comune di Castel Maggiore per meriti culturali. Responsabile della rubrica poesia per la Gazzetta di Istanbul, editor per l’Europa della rivista turca Papirus, edita da Artshop; collabora con vari blog e riviste cartacee, tra cui Verbumpress, Menabò e Il Porticciolo.

Claudia Piccinno was born in the south of Italy in1970, but she moved very young in the north of Italy where she currently lives and where she teaches in a primary school, she is scholastic referent land for education at reading. Operating in more than eighty anthologies, even abroad (India, Malesia, Singapore, Turkey, China) she’s a former member of the jury in many national and international literary prizes. She is author foreground with effect in June 2015 in the World Group Pentasi B, and In Oup archives international since May 2016, she works to promote poetry based on respect and appreciation of differences, she fights to prevent gender prejudices. She has received awards in major national and international competitions of poetry, including an honourable mention in the Paris 1st Word Literary Prize and a 3rd prize in Lugano, Switzerland, 3rd prize in Albania; She has been the first Italian poetess to be awarded with The Stelae of Rosetta, World Literary Prize in Istanbul on November 2016. .She was conferred Pentasi awards in Ghana, and in India. Since February 2018 she was conferred honour acknowledgement as editorial member of Indian cultural centre Sahitya Anand ISSN2320-5075/UGC APPROVAL NO.64372 RNI REGISTRATION Mahmul2014/49894. She was conferred with the most prestigious award “World icon for peace” for Wip in Ondo city, Nigeria, on April 2017.” Winners at Naji Naaman's literary prizes 2018, Libano. She was special guest for Europe at Feminin Istanbul festival in October 2017. She was special guest at Belgrado Book Fair and at Matica,29 october 2017. She was special guest for Italy in Istanbul Unesco Poetry Festival,20-23 march 2018. Her poem "In Blue" is played on a majolica stele posted on the seafront in Santa Caterina di Nardo (Le). On June 2016, she was art director in an art & poetry international exhibition called June in Italy. She is Italian editor for the international literary magazine Rosetta World Literatura in Turkey and for  Atunis Magazine in Albania. She usually writes for Oup archives, Setu literature magazine She has also written numerous  critical essays or prefaces about other poets’ books. She has translated from English into Italian language lots of authors. She lately got a gold medal for poetry at Lunigiana Center of Study about Dante Alighieri. She cooperates with her verses to some art catalogues. Her poems have been translated into Arabic, Spanish, Turkish, Serbian, French, Chinese, Hindi,Greek, Polish languages.

Mai Văn Phấn:

Il poeta vietnamita Mai Văn Phấn è nato nel 1955 a Ninh Bình, nel delta del fiume Rosso, nel Vietnam del Nord. Attualmente vive e scrive poesie nella città di Hải Phòng. Ha vinto numerosi premi letterari vietnamiti e internazionali, tra cui il Premio dell'Associazione degli scrittori vietnamiti nel 2010, il Premio letterario svedese Cikada nel 2017, il Premio dell'Accademia serba delle scienze e delle arti nel 2019 e il Premio letterario dell'Associazione letteraria Traduttori dal Montenegro nel 2020. Ha pubblicato 19 libri di poesie e 2 libro "Critiche - Saggi" in Vietnam. 34 suoi libri di poesie sono pubblicati e diffusi all'estero e sulla rete di distribuzione di Amazon. Le poesie di Mai Văn Phấn sono tradotte in 40 lingue.
