Bunga ilalang baru saja mekar

Cahaya memancar dari sana

Fajar memancar dari sana

dan menerangi kaki bukit, pintu keluar hutan

Burung-burung berpencaran sejak dini hari

Aku pun telah berpencar dari ingatanku

Bukan ingatan dari sembarang tempat

melainkan ingatan akan bunga ilalang itu

Hari yang sangat indah mulai terbentuk

Aku berjalan ke kafe terdekat

menunggu kekasihku

dan cukup lama kupandangi bukit itu

Betul, betul sekali

kita semua dilahirkan di sana.

I see at the top of the hill

A beardgrass flower just bloomed

Light emanates from there

Dawn emanates from there

And illuminates the foot of the hill, a forest exit

Birds depart in the early morning

I too have just left my memories

Not from anywhere else

But from that very beardgrass flower

An extremely beautiful day is forming

I walk to the nearest café

To wait for my woman

And for a long time I look towards the hill

True, very true

All of us were born there.

Một bông cỏ may vừa nở

Ánh sáng phát ra từ đó

Bình minh đang phát ra từ đó

Soi rõ chân đồi, lối ra bìa rừng

Những con chim bay đi buổi sớm

Tôi cũng vừa thoát khỏi ký ức của tôi

Không phải nơi nào khác

Mà chính từ bông cỏ may kia

Đang làm nên một ngày tuyệt đẹp

Tôi rảo bước đến quán café gần nhất

Đợi người đàn bà của tôi

Và nhìn rất lâu về phía ngọn đồi

Đúng, rất đúng

Tất cả chúng ta vừa sinh ra ở đó.
