Het lied van de oogst
Snelle verspreiding, overweldigend teruggewonnen maagdelijk land
Je laat de ene wilde bloem na de andere vallen
om me vanuit het huis met zijn kleine tuin omhoog te laten dwarrelen
De vogels snijden immense ruimte en laten lijnen van eindeloze vluchten achter
Mijn wortels reiken tot aan je groene ogen
Elke scheut spuit warmte om de boezem van de aarde te bevochtigen
van de ademhaling die de lucht transformeert
vanuit de lege hemel die wolken ophoopt
De rieten ogen verbranden het oude gewas
Om onze visie en de vrije horizon te veranderen
De aarde aanvaardt alle brandende sintels
Het nieuwe seizoen komt met zelfvertrouwen, alles uitslijpend en uitvegend
De kus is stil, straalt warmte uit en boort zich in de ingewanden van de aarde
De ondergrondse aderen gezwollen met oude mysteries aanrakend
De vruchtbare aarde versmolten met de dageraad biedt een gezicht

The Song of Harvest
Spreading quickly, overwhelming reclaimed virgin land
You drop one burst of wild flower after another
to whirl me up from the house with its small garden
The birds cut up immense space and leave lines of endless flight
My roots reach up to your verdant eyes
Every sprout sprays warmth to wet the bosom of earth
from the breathing that transforms the sky
from the empty sky that builds clouds up
The thatch eyes burn up the old crop
To change our vision and the vacant horizon
The earth accepts all burning cinders
The new season comes with self-confidence, grinding and wiping out all
The kiss is silent, radiating heat and boring into entrails of earth
touching underground veins swollen with old mysteries
The fertile earth fused with dawn offers up a face
with exuberant plants and trees in profusion
The seasons of resurrection are pregnant with ripe ears of paddy
The thunder bursts out in the palm seeds
The cycle of fresh alluvium embraces fibres of earth
You bow down and all of a sudden, the river rushes in.

Lan nhanh, choáng ngợp đất hoang vừa mở
Em đổ từng trận lũ dại cuồng
Cuốn xiết anh khỏi ngôi nhà có khu vườn bé nhỏ
Con chim cắt không gian rộng để lại đường bay bất tận
Cội rễ anh vươn mắt em nhìn tươi tốt
Từng hạt mầm phun hơi ấm lòng đất ướt
từ hơi thở làm bầu trời đổi khác
từ khoảng không được quyền kiến tạo đám mây
Mắt rạ rơm đốt thiêu mùa cũ
Đổi thay cách nhìn và khoảng trống chân trời
đất nhận cả những gì còn cháy dở
mùa mới về tự tin, nghiền nát và xóa hết
Nụ hôn nín thinh, tỏa nhiệt, khoan vào lòng đất

Về tác giả Emel Kiliç
Emel Kiliç sinh năm 1984 tại Istanbul (Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ). Chị hoàn thành khoá học thạc sỹ chuyên ngành Giáo dục cho người lớn tại Đại học Dân Chủ (Brussels, Vương quốc Bỉ) và chuyên ngành Giáo dục mầm non tại Đại học Marmara (Istanbul, Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ). Trong và sau quá trình học tập, chị làm việc với tư cách nhà báo chuyên về mảng giáo dục, biên tập viên và giáo viên trường mẫu giáo.
Đồng thời chị là người dẫn chương trình cho đài phát thanh quốc gia về giáo dục đại học, gia đình và trẻ nhỏ. Chị có bài viết trên các tờ báo, Bianet, Nhật báo Cumhuriyet và Binfikir… (2005-2016). Emel Kiliç đã xuất bản cuốn sách dành cho trẻ em, mang tên “Lastik Cocuk” (tạm dịch: Đứa trẻ uốn dẻo) và tập thơ có tên gọi “çay, kahve ve delilik üzerine” (tạm dịch: Về anh, ly cà phê và sự điên cuồng).
Ở tuổi 26, chị chuyển đến sống tại Vương quốc Bỉ, học tiếng Hà Lan và nghiên cứu về văn hoá – xã hội trong giáo dục cho người lớn tại Đại học Tự Do Brussels (VUB). Chị đi sâu vào vấn đề hội nhập của đa số người dân Bỉ, quan tâm về hội nhập và xã hội đa văn hoá, viết luận văn thạc sỹ về tầng lớp trí thức nhập cư trong giáo dục cho người lớn và sự hội nhập của họ ở vùng Flanders.
Chị từng là thành viên của Hội đồng Giáo dục Flanders từ 2012-2017 và là tình nguyện viên cho một số dự án về giáo dục.
Hiện tại Emel vẫn tiếp tục sáng tác, tiếp tục công trình nghiên cứu cấp Tiến sỹ và điều hành diễn đàn cá nhân dành cho trí thức nhập cư với mục đích tăng cường và mở rộng mạng lưới xã hội.

About Emel Kiliç
She was born in Istanbul in 1984, finished master studies about adult education at the Free University of Brussels and early childhood education at the Marmara University. During and after her studies, she worked as an education journalist, editor and as a pre-school teacher.
Furthermore, she presented radio programs about higher education and about children and their families. She wrote articles about education in Bianet, Cumhuriyet Daily Newspaper and Binfikir… (2005-2016). She wrote a children’s book called ‘Lastik Cocuk’ (Elastic Child) and a poem’s book called ‘çay, kahve ve delilik üzerine’ (about thee, coffee and madness).
At the age of 26, she went to live in Belgium, learned Dutch and studied social and cultural adult education at the VUB in Brussels. She went through the entire Belgian integration process and because of her interest about integration and the multicultural society, she wrote her master thesis about highly educated migrants in the adult education and their integration process in Flanders.
On top of the above, she was a member of the VLOR between 2012-2017 (The Flemish Education Council) and she was a volunteer for some projects about education.
Emel continues writing, continues her research in a PHD and maintains a forum she created for highly educated migrants, to empower and enlarge their social network.
