Viện sĩ-nhà văn Milutin Djurickovic vừa gửi tôi thông báo: Nhân dịp Ngày Sách thế giới, Hiệp hội Văn học - Nghệ thuật "Raskovnik" thuộc thành phố Smederevo* (Cộng hòa Serbia) đã trao giải thưởng quốc tế cho các nhà văn, nhà thơ từ 17 quốc gia.

* Thành phố Smederevo thuộc Cộng hòa Serbia. Đây là thủ phủ hành chính của quận Podunavlje miền đông Serbia, nằm bên phải bờ sông Danube, khoảng 45 km về phía hạ lưu thủ đô Belgrade. Theo điều tra dân số năm 2011, thành phố có 64.105 người, với 108.209 người sống trong khu vực hành chính. Lịch sử Smederevo bắt đầu từ thế kỷ I trước Công nguyên, nơi đây là thị trấn Vinceia dưới sự cai trị của Đế chế La Mã. Từ cuối thời Trung cổ (1430–1439 và 1444–1459), Smederevo là thủ phủ  của quốc gia Serbia trước khi bị Đế quốc Ottoman chiếm đóng. (Theo Wikipedia)

* Smederevo is a city and the administrative center of the Podunavlje District in eastern Serbia. It is situated on the right bank of the Danube, about 45 kilometres (28 miles) downstream of the Serbian capital, Belgrade. According to the 2011 census, the city has a population of 64,105, with 108,209 people living in its administrative area. Its history starts in the 1st century BC, after the conquest of the Roman Empire, when there existed a settlement by the name of Vinceia. The modern city traces its roots back to the late Middle Ages when it was the capital (1430–39, and 1444–59) of the last independent Serbian state before Ottoman conquest.
